Who We Are
We are a family run micro - activities centre that provides day services for blind and visually impaired 16+ year olds with severe autism and/or multiple complex needs and wheelchair users in a safe and loving homely environment.
We are registered with the RNIB.
Pioneering day services in West Sussex
We are very proud that Re:Sight day services are unique in West Sussex, providing specially designed and highly flexible services to suit any individual with visual impairment and/or profound learning difficulties.
Our activities are filled with music, sound, vision, smell and taste to awaken all our senses.
With our dedicated team, you can be sure that your loved one is spending their day safe, happy and content, whilst keeping busy and continue to learn.
Our multi-sensory sessions run daily to relax the individual, utilising all of our sound, vision and sensory equipment to relax on a number of seating options in our day centre. Our multi-sensory corner has many light sources and cables ranging from one meter in length to three meters of all different widths with two bubble tubes and multi point laser lights, creating the most soothing atmosphere for our day service users to enjoy and wind down.
Days at Re:Sight
Our daily routine is very fulfilling and structured where we help, assist and encourage individuals to make choices and join in with our educational sessions and activities in order to give the individuals as much independence as possible. This drives our core belief that everyone can achieve whatever skills they desire.
We offer a wide variety of multi-sensory experiences, ranging from our multi-sensory garden to our multi-sensory indoor space, as well as our amazing cinema experience, and our indoor gym.
Who can attend Re:Sight?
Anyone aged 16+ who is blind or visually impaired, with additional complex needs can attend our centre with their own carer.
Throughout the day we run sessions that are full of fun also
we like to do art and crafts, live music, light yoga, singing and dancing to include a variety of activities for our day centre users, so that sessions are engaging for the individuals.
Families and care givers can rest and be assured that the individual at Re:Sight is happy and thriving while they are receiving respite.
